Seven ladies from Hollister United enjoyed their second week of the Catalyst Premiere Development Program held in the beautiful city of Soquel.  The weather was dry, but cloudy and a bit chilly at times. The normal practice field was closed today; so practice was moved to the near by Soquel High School football field.

Over 600 players from across the Monterey Bay Area tried out for the Catalyst Premiere Development Program and only 40 girls in the U9 age group were chosen for this specially run camp designed for players who can take it to the next level. The girls over the next few weeks will work on their technical and tactical development skills for the game of soccer.

The Hollister girls represented their team well.  They showed that Hollister United is an up and coming team by turning quite a few heads.  Coaches from other teams were asking questions about our team and where these girls came from.  All of the H.U.G.S. players in attendance looked awesome and had their game on today.  It was a thrill to see these girls learning new skills that they can take with them and apply, and making practical use out those skills.

I also took several photos of today’s camp.
