With the end of Super Bowl XXXIX and with the Patriots winning their third title, I have been left with a certain void in my life.  Not being able to watch Monday Night Football had me in a state of panic.  With my wife helping me with deep breathing, she gently reminded me of Hollister United Soccer.  Yeah United Soccer!!!!  With a sweeping rush of relief and surreal calmness my worries began to recede.  Hollister United was back in action!   

The team has made the addition of five new players this season.  At their first practice last Wednesday, I was left in awe at the potential of what this team will be able to accomplish.  Until the sun begins cooperating, practices will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30pm – 6:00pm at Veterans Park. 

To the new the girls: Welcome to the team!!! Also, we appreciate the dedication of their parents in supporting the girls, and taking the time out of their busy lives to support the team.  I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you.

Now that I have a renewed sense of purpose in my life; making sure our website is being updated again seems like a high priority.  Having my sporting fix resolved has left me with the feeling that things are again right with the world, and I can’t help but wonder if the planets have aligned.
