Hollister United 1 – Los Gatos 2
The last time these two
teams met
it was not pretty a little over a year ago with a 4-1 victory going
to Los Gatos United on their home field. Hollister United started
off very strong with a lot a pressure on Los Gatos. The whole team
looked great and really coming together. Los Gatos was a very fast
team and gave United a run for the money. For the first half there
were 5 shots on Kylie who was able to turn away and deny Los Gatos
any goals for that first 25 minutes. United also was able to make 6
shots on goal of there own which were turned away.
The second half started off just as fast with back and forth with no
team, really gaining the upper hand. Mid way through Hollister was
able to goal for the first score of the game. Unfortunately it was
not to last. Los Gatos was able to find the goal two times to put
them on top. Hollister made a real go at it and kept constant
pressure on the Los Gatos goalie with shot after shot, but it was
not to be. The game would end with Los Gatos 2 to 1 over Hollister
United.
Hollister is on the road for this up coming game against Mountain View and the ironic twist is that Mountain View won that game 4-1. If United does as well against the Mountain View as we did against Los Gatos we should fair pretty well. Oh and remember the comments about the “Farmers”, well payback sucks!!!
